Silicone Oils
Silicone oils are clear, colourless, non-toxic and non-flammable oils also known as Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) or Dimethicone.
They are available in different viscosities (measured in centistokes, cSt) and are also the primary ingredient in our antifoams, release agents and mould making rubbers.

• High permeability to gases (e.g., water vapor, oxygen), which allows respiration of the skin
• Silicone Oil Applications
Active ingredient in a variety of automotive, furniture, metal and specialty polishes in paste, emulsion and solvent-based polishes and aerosols. Also used as a cosmetic ingredient (shampoo imparts a soft, velvety feel), elastomer and plastics lubricant, electrical insulating fluid, foam preventive or breaker, mechanical fluid, mould release agent, surface active agent, and solvent-based finishing and fat liquoring of leather.
