Cargo Bars
Cargo bars are a common method of quickly and easily securing loads in containers, used to prevent pallets and boxes from shifting during transit.
The cargo bar is braced horizontally across the inside of the container using the ratchet mechanism.
Cargo bars are reusable and very quick to install and remove. Figure 2 below shows the parts that make up a cargo bar.

Features:
• The inner tube telescopes within the outer tube so the length of the cargo bar can be adjusted with the ratchet.
• The inner tube is 0.7 m long, the outer tube is longer at 2 m.
• Cargo bars adjust from 2.26 to 2.61m (89 to 104”) to fit the interior width of a standard shipping container.
• The foot pads on either end are rectangular and fit within the corrugations of the container walls. •The tubes are standard galvanized tube sizes, the outer has an OD of 1.5” (38 mm) and the inner an OD of 1.25” (32 mm).
